Our congregation at Amherst Presbyterian Church invites you and your family to celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each new church season (first Sunday of Advent, Christmas eve, Epiphany Sunday, first Sunday in Lent, Easter Sunday, Pentecost Sunday, World Communion Sunday and one Sunday during the summer). We practice open communion, which means you do not need to be a member of our congregation to take communion. Anyone who accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior is welcome to celebrate this sacrament with us.

Both the bread and cup (grape juice in little glasses) are normally passed to you in the pews. We hold both the bread and cup until everyone is served, then partake together.
